Something transparent in the ocean 

and three fish with different colours (red, yellow, blue) around it.

At first, I felt that this image - it came to mind before I went to sleep - was like a petal pattern surrounded by layers of a flower. 

They were white and separated shapes but layered around the centre. 

Even I felt difficult to understand. 

However, based on recent interests - marine life, transparent and mysterious creatures, especially octopus that can change skin colour - I imagined that the octopus was camouflaged to suit its surroundings, and three fish were exploring nearby wondering. "What is this?" 

(But I couldn't name it octopus when I titled it because I didn't know what it was.)

Anyway, the image that hit my mind was quite clear, so I worked on it like that. 

And this time, I expressed water in a new way that I had never depicted before, and it was interesting. :) 

이건 뭐지?

바닷속 투명한 무엇

그리고 그 주위의 빨강, 노랑, 파랑, 각기 다른 색을 가진 물고기 세 마리.

 잠들기 전 떠오른 이 이미지에 대해 

처음에는 한 송이 꽃의 겹겹이 둘러싸인 꽃잎 문양 같다고 느꼈다. 

하얗고 따로 떨어져 있지만 가운데를 중심으로 겹겹을 이루는 모양. 

스스로도 이게 뭔지 잘 모르겠는, 난해한 느낌이 들었다. 

 하지만 최근의 관심사 - 해양 생물, 투명하고 신비로운 생명체, 특히 보호색을 가진 문어 -에 근거해 

문어가 주변 환경에 맞춰 위장해 있는데 세 마리의 물고기가 이게 뭘까 궁금해하며 

근처를 탐색하는 것은 아닐까란 상상을 했다.  

(하지만 나도 내가 떠올린 이것의 정체를 알 수 없어 제목을 지을 때 문어라 명명할 수 없었다.) 

 어쨌든 떠오른 이미지는 꽤 뚜렷한 편이라 그렇게 작업하게 되었다. 

그리고 물에 대한 표현을, 이전에는 하지 않았던 새로운 방식으로 했는데 

그게 또 재미있었다. :)
